Travel

Auckland City is approximately 15-minutes from Unitec’s Mt. Albert campus and within the same district for the Unitec Summit Day on Monday. Guests can ask their Hotel’s direct for transport to the venues in terms of a taxi, however this is also the train and Uber available to transport guests.

Train

Britomart Train Station located in Britomart is Auckland City’s train station.
Trains to Mt. Albert depart every 10-minutes and take approximately 30-minutes.
Guests will need to be travelling on the Western Line to Mt. Albert Train Station.

The train will cost approximately $6.00 per trip.

Once getting off at Mt. Albert train station, guests will need to walk to Carrington Road and walk down to Unitec.

Taxi

There are a wide range of taxi companies in Auckland, offering direct rides to and from locations for tourists. Guests will need to ensure they either have NZD on them or a valid eftpos card, however please be aware not all taxi companies are able to take card payments.

Uber

Guests can also catch an Uber to ICMU at Unitec, Auckland.

No need for guests to carry cash, they can book their own Uber to ICMU at Unitec with a guided look into where their ride is and how much it will cost. Their registered credit or debit card will be used to pay for the trip direct.
