Taxis and Shuttles

All taxi and shuttle companies are able to drop you off at the airport, however only licensed companies are able to pick you up from the designated taxi ranks at the terminal buildings. Taxi and shuttle ranks are located outside the arrivals area (door 8) at the international terminal and outside door 4 at the domestic terminal. You can pre-book with one of the companies listed below or just turn up at the terminal ranks – taxis and shuttles are always available. Indicative fares from the airport into the city is between NZ$38 – NZ$75 one-way for a taxi and shuttles ($35 for one person plus $8 for each extra person together in the same group). For specific fare pricing, contact the taxi and shuttle companies directly. Auckland Airport charges $5 per pick up and $2 per drop off, inclusive in the fixed fare rate.

Mount Eden and One Tree Hill

Auckland is located on a large volcanic area. Mount Eden and One three Hill are highest natural points in the south of Auckland Central. You can access in 10-20 min from the city center.

Devonport

There is the historic suburb, Devonport, on the opposite shore of Auckland. You can walk to summits of Mount Victoria or North Head and see 360° beautiful views. Ferries between Auckland and Devonport depart every half hour.

Auckland's North Shore Beaches

The suburbs of Auckland's North Shore beaches have a sunny seaside. On a breezy day, you can see white triangle sails of yachts. When easterly winds blow on the beach, surfers, boogie boarders, kite surfers and windsurfers are enjoying the wave.
