Payment currency depends on a payment method: JPY (Japanese yen) via bank transfer and USD (US dollar) via EDAS with credit card.
Important Notes
- All attendees must register for the ICMU 2017 conference.
- Each accepted regular paper and short paper REQUIRES at least one FULL registration before the camera ready deadline. Please make sure to register and complete payment by July 28, 2017, otherwise your paper will not be published in the conference proceedings.
- One FULL registration covers one paper. If you have more than one accepted paper, you must pay an additional paper charge of 40,000 JPY (or 400 USD via EDAS) for each additional paper. It is encouraged to have your co-authors to register and attend the conference.
- If the first author of a poster/demo paper is a student, the accepted paper does NOT REQUIRE FULL registration. One STUDENT POSTER/DEMO REGISTRATION can cover one poster/demo paper.
- The standard page limit for regular and short papers is 6 and 4 pages, respectively. Regular papers can exceed this limit up to 2 extra pages at a cost of 8,000 JPY (or 80 USD via EDAS) for each extra page. Note that SHORT PAPERS ARE NOT ALLOWED to exceed the page limit.
- If you register as a student, please send a scanned copy of confirmation document of your student status to Shigemi Ishida, registration co-chair. Please refer to a registration confirmation email that you receive after registration for more details.
Instructions for Registration
- Step 1: Submit registration information for ICMU 2017 via Google Form. You can choose your payment method here.
- Step 2: Make a payment via bank transfer or via EDAS.
Payment via EDAS
Please make sure that you finished google form submission.
Payment via EDAS requires to add a registration code, which is given in a registration confirmation email that you receive after the google form submission.
- Authors should click on "Registration" button in a paper details section on EDAS.
- Non-authors should log in to EDAS: choose "Register" -> "ICMU 2017" and select the desired option.
Additional banquet tickets for accompanying people can be ordered. Please don't forget to input accompanying people information on the google form.
Payment via Bank Transfer
Please make sure that you finished google form submission.

- The amount of payment is given in a registration confirmation email.
- Please append your registration ID after your name when making a bank transfer transaction.

Cancellation Policy
For Speakers:
- No refunds will be issued for speakers.
For Participants:
- Cancellations on or prior to Sep. 3, 2017 will incur a 10% cancellation charge. No refunds will be issued after this date.

- If you need an official supporting document from ICMU, please send a request to Shigemi Ishida, registration co-chair.
