Camera-Ready Instruction

The Page format of camera-ready paper is the same as the first submitted version. The regular length of the paper is eight pages. An electronic, PDF-based submission of papers is mandatory.

Copyright Assignment Contract should be filled and sent by facsimile.

Note:

  • At least one of the authors for each paper MUST register as a Non-Student (Member or Non-Member) by Aug. 16 (due date of Registration for Speakers), otherwise the paper will not be included in the final program. If only students attend the conference, one of the students MUST register as a Member or Non-Member.
  • [Regular Paper] If your regular paper consists of more than 8 pages, an additional fee GBP 50 is required for each additional page. Please add the fee to the total, when you make a bank transfer for the registration fee. Maximum allowance for papers is 12 pages.
  • [Poster Presentation] If your paper is accepted for the Poster Presentation, the length of the camera-ready paper should NOT exceed 6 pages. Any extra pages are not permitted.
  • For authors to present two or more papers, we will request an additional registration fee. A Non-Student registration fee is required for each accepted paper.

Preparing Camera-Ready Papers

Print the ICMU-Formt.pdf file, and follow the instructions for preparing your manuscript. Your paper will appear in the published volume in exactly the submitted format. Please adhere strictly to the 2-column 10 point format. Reproduction will be in black and white, with gray-scale rendition of graphics.

Download the LaTeX2e or Microsoft WordTM sample documents provided below if you have these programs. The files will assist you for preparing your manuscript. Please compare the hard copy of your paper to the sample provided, to ensure that your paper has the same format (fonts, margins, styles).

Note that the paper size is A4, not letter. Please use proper settings of your software (Adobe Acrobat etc.) for the production of a PDF file.

Sending Camera-Ready Papers

Please send the PDF file of your paper to icmu2006-publication@icmu.org by e-mail. Don't forget to register to the conference by the camera-ready due!

  • Name of the PDF file MUST be ICMU2006-[PAPER-ID].pdf. For example, ICMU2006-1568990603.pdf. Your PAPER ID can be checked by following steps:
    1. Visit EDAS ICMU2006 Page and login with your EDAS account.
    2. Click [My Papers] icon.
    3. Click your paper title submitted to ICMU2006.
    4. Your PAPER ID appears at the top of a page as "#[PAPER-ID]: YOUR-PAPER-TITLE".
  • Include the information of the paper in the body of the message. Copy and fill the following form.

Sending Copyright Assignment Contract

In accordance with the "IPSJ Guideline for the Preparation of Manuscripts" and "IPSJ Copyright Guidelines", the copyright for your paper will pass to the IPSJ at the time the final manuscript reaches the program committee.

Please print out the copyright guidelines of IPSJ below, and complete and sign the form at the last page. At completion, please return it to the conference publication co-chair by facsimile (+81-22-217-5411). If you cannot use facsimile or you encountered some trouble sending the form, please send an e-mail to <icmu2006-publication [at] icmu.org>.

If there are more than one authors, one of the authors authorized by all the other authors may sign on behalf of all the authors.

If, for a special reason, you cannot agree to the assignment of the copyright or there is a partial limitation, please so inform in writing.
